It was hella fun. When we arrived at the airport, I saw a Disney store about a feet away, and I already had a feeling that it would be good. Then I saw a poster of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter somewhere in the airport and I just freaked.
Oh, and I had no idea that Disney World was divided into parks. I thought it was the same as the Disneyland in California but bigger. But no, you have to take a shuttle to go to a different world. Isn't that great? It really is an adventure!
Well I'm gonna write about the attractions now.
May 5, 2013:
Disney's Animal Kingdom
Discovery Island
It's Tough to be a Bug!-
The line for this was hella short. It was a 3D show with Flick from A Bug's Life. It was awesome! Though I've already rode this in California, it was the same here in Orlando. It was fun. I was never a fan of 3D ride, I always scream when something's thrown at you.
Disney Outfiters
I got a picture with Donald and Minnie! I got to hug Donald! I practically screamed like a kid and just said "DONAAALD!" and hugged him immediately.
Camp Minnie-Mickey
The Festival of the Lion King
Now this is an amazing show! In the map, it says it was big as a Broadway show, so it got me all excited. And it was awesome! Just the cast and the dancing and stuff. It was great. I love it so much!
Africa
Kilimanjaro Safaris
This had a long line. It was worth it though. We got to see animals! It was weird, the wait made mum all crazy and stuff.
Asia
Expedition Everest-Legend of the Forbidden Mountain
THIS RIDE!! We were expecting this to be a pussy ride, and how wrong we were! It was awesome! Oh God, there was a part where we got backwards, and there was a big drop! And the Yeti appeared all of a sudden.
Dinoland
We just played games. Bro won a shark. :))
* We first went to the Everest ride. It was my second roller coaster so forgive me with my extreme comments.
We only took a little time in Animal Kingdom because there's nothing much there and we were in a hurry to go to Epcot.
Oh btw, we got a picture with Dug and Russel!
Disney's Epcot
Future World East
Spaceship Earth
This is a ride that goes around the history of communication. It was alright.
Test Track
My bro told me Test Track was a pussy ride. I didn't go because the line was too long but the single riders line wasn't. I didn't want to ride alone. So I let bro and Maricris go. While waiting for them, mum, dad, and I went to Radiator Springs.
Future World West
Soarin'
This was a wonderful ride. It showed America through a point of view of a helicopter. It shows that the world really is marvelous.
Character Spot
We finally got a picture with the historical Mickey Mouse! On the other side was Pluto.
It was funny because Pluto scared Mickey with bro's shark. But then Mickey suddenly want to eat it and he became sad because Pluto has it. Then bro got it from Pluto then he started crying. They were so much in character. It was too adorable.
And we got another picture with Minnie.
World Showcase
Get to go around the world for a day! Just, amazing!
United Kingdom
France
(My fave Disney princess)
And a bunch of other places like Japan, Morocco, Canada, Mexico, Norway, China, Germany and Italy! (Can't put pictures... too many.)
Oh, and Princess Aurora told me that I was a princess. That made my day. (Yes, I've always wanted to be a Disney princess)
And Aurora taught me the princess pose.
*My turn*
Aurora: Come here, princess.
Me: Omygad! I'm a princess?
Aurora: Of course you are, do you want to do the princess pose?
Me: Err... How is that?
*Then Aurora taught me*
Highlight(s) of the day: The Festival of the Lion King (Animal Kingdom)
Aurora calling me a princess (Epcot)
Well that's about it. :) It was an awesome first day at Orlando, Florida!
